Apple to Offer iWatch in Two Screen Sizes, 8GB of Storage
Apple is believed to have readied between two and four options for casing material, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo wrote in a Thursday morning note to investors, a copy of which was provided to AppleInsider. The company might also offer a gold option, matching the color unveiled with the iPhone 5s and expected to make its way to the iPad Air.
Kuo says Apple will likely not give consumers a choice of storage capacity for the “iWatch,” instead equipping all models of the wearable with 8GB of internal storage, and 512MB of built-in memory.
The “iWatch” is expected to debut at Apple’s September 9th event, alongside the next-generation iPhone’s and possibly a new iPad. the wearable device is expected to boast numerous health and fitness sensors.
Apple’s event at the Flint Center in Cupertino, CA, will kick off at 10AM Pacific, 1PM Eastern Time.
